Hi all,

As some of you are aware I have an outstanding order with Sanjay at Replicaters.com. Ive been waiting now for nearly 50 days for something I was told would be at my door in "under 30 days". I am glad I paid through Paypal as I have listed a dispute and claim against this all too unreliable supplier.

Ive been given a bunch of excuses as to why I dont have my DAK tall boots as yet from Sanjay ranging from Ramadan to having a gall stone removed. Im not kidding on these either!! :o Inventive, but nonetheless, a bunch of bollox if you ask me.

I have until September 30th before Paypal hopefully steps in and gives me my money back, then it will be onto TOTLS to get them instead. :roll:

I DEFINITELY suggest if you are thinking of buying anything from Replicaters that you pay with paypal, that way you're covered. My boots could still turn up, of course my hair could miraculously grow back too, but I somehow doubt it. I could also stand to not get my money back too as Paypal doesn't guarantee refunds...yet all purchases made through them is supposed to be covered? Hmmm... sheesh! :roll: We'll wait and see....

Craigy want his DAK tall boots!!! :cry:

just to further report on this SHIESTER, I have not received my boots, not received any further excuses and now I will no doubt be going into to battle with Paypal...as guess what dear reader? Sanjay doesnt have "buyer protection" with paypal! This means he can rip you off and they wont necessarily do anything about it.

I STRONGLY suggest you leave this moron well and truly alone shopping wise.

I bought stuff off him ten years ago (DAK equipment straps), and he came through.

Paypal came through with my refund. Sanjay is a tool. I will NEVER shop with that moron ever again. Even after sending yet more emails to the git, he still never replied. But good ol Paypal came through and gave me back my money.

Yeah, Im sorry man! These came completely out of the blue, did not expect them at all! As far as I was concerned I wasnt getting any boots for a while....

here they are as I madly work away on them...Ive put the dark brown on the tan leather on one as you can see, just like our low boots... going to rub it off now! 8)

further down the track with the boots...

can I wear them to Jamestown??? :lol:

you can see where the original canvas colour is on the side of the boot, but the Avocado Warproo looks a whole lot better.... Very DAKilicious!
