Hi David, I am still waiting on a reply from a good friend I was supposed to be seeing on Saturday night. All failing that, I will be at the German Club to share with you a birthday drink (non-alcoholic of course!) If I dont see you Saturday night, have a bevy of booze for me, enjoy the night and have a great Birthday! I will see you Sunday definitely!

Looks like I might be joining you guys! My mate has bowed out on me....he does that a lot, which is why I knew it would be a futile thing to say yay or nay to anything until I heard from him. I'll head around mid arvo to your place Andy and bring your Yankee gators too! WooHOOO!!!!

So we all wearing our Gestapo uniforms to the German Club??

Next Year I turn 40 (2010). It's my intention to shamelessly rip off Craigs idea and hold a 40s theme party. There will be more posted about this later.

Cheers,

David

April 18th is my actual birthday. Next year it will be a Sunday, so April 17 is more likely to be the day that I actually hold my 40th. I am already starting to source WW2 music for it. Sure it's over seven months away, but why wait? :)

I have HEAPS of WW2 period music David, Glenn Miller, Louis Armstrong, Vera Lynn, Big Band, German Marching Music (of course!), Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, even though she wasnt WW2: Edith Piaf and a bucket load more I cant think of now... If I can find the links for the WW2 radio online I'll send it on.
