*Format of Outside and Arena activities*
* *
Due to the number of entries received and to improve spectator
involvement their will be two arenas (large and small) to cater for the
more intimate demonstrations and the demonstrations that require more
space. Activities on the arena will alternate with a break between to
allow spectators to visit the pavilion displays as well.
Our Arena manage requires from all participants providing action
demonstrations the following,
* Name of Organisation
* Small or large arena required
* How long to set up
* Time frame of event
This information can be provided through the website and *IT WOULD BE
APPRECIATED IF THIS IS DONE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE*
Around the arena will be various living history sites and military vehicles.
*Major Arena Event*
* *
* *
The Major Arena Event will be a battle scene depicting the Australian
defense of the Brallos Pass in April of 1941. This will involve members
of several of the living history groups above.
*Dance*
* *
* *
* *
* *
The very well received dance organized by the Ross Township is back on
the program as well. The community have arranged for a bus to transport
to and from the event to Ross ($10) and the tickets (which include
supper) are $25 each. The Swing band has also been booked and if the
last dance is any indication it will be a great night. The Organizers
are also contributing a prize for the best period dressed participants.
