Hi all,

Chris has just confirmed the date for the Fort Glanville static display day. 20th Sept 2009.

Basically, this is very short notice (only 2 weeks from now), but it would be good if we could get a few people down to fly the club banner.

The weather will be hot, so Tropical gear might be the go.

Looking for USA 1st Div, Russians, German DAK/Tropical Fallschirmjager and Western Desert Commonwealth.

Andy.

I was too busy getting called "nazi" by a bunch of kids....cheeky little buggers! Its good to see the education system is actually doing its its job. Far be it from me to believe that a German Soldier instantly makes him a nazi, must be a guilt by association thing. Meh.

Hello All
Here are some happy snaps of this quiet little static display event...interstingly the 'encampment' was overflown by a rebuilt WWII Australian made Boomerang (only 2 flying in Aus)...in all a very pleasant day.
