All,

I need names of attendees and the intended impression you will be wearing.

We have thee scenarios:

Russian vs Heer/Continental FJ

Germans vs Americans (Breadstick routine)

Commonwealth vs DAK/Tropical FJ.

Let me know in the next two or three days if you won't be coming.

Andy.

Im putting my hand up for crowd control. Stop people walking through events...however, I may not be in two places at the same time. I am happy to look after the area we occupy whilst other things are happening.

Excellent event guys. It was hard work and we almost overstepped ourselves by trying to pull off three separate scenarios. I think we did pretty well though as it was only the second full scale public battle display we have done as a club :)

Looks great. Please post all photos so those of us who could not make it can at least imagine. Did anyone take video? I ask as I am not sure if it happened this time due to logistics.

My day was excellent! I had a ball especially with Chris & I doing the Feldgendarm at the boom gate before we got into our scenarios. The public loved it, had a good laugh at our expense (the Germans that is)....especially the mums and dads with little kids, what a hoot that was! Of course dying 3 times and biting the dirt was good too...apart from actaully biting the dirt. Ha-ha!! 3 uniform changes was definitely a feat, considering there wasnt much time between scenarios. But I had a great day, even better now that we have a couple of extra DAK boys joining us with their Motorbike and sidecar....*drools* RSA will get bigger and better than all of the other clubs soon! Another highlight was Doug taking some kinder for a ride in his truck...they loved it. Kids really enjoyed the show, apart from some tears at the gunfire in the breadstick routine..oh well, cant ALL be happy.
I dare say there will be much to discuss at the next meeting, but definitely an awesome day for all concerned. Cant wait for Nangwarry now....at least we wont be boiling hot in our continental uniforms.
Well done to everyone there, we all did well considering that the fort guys need to liaise with us a little more with regards to their events and ours, timing was the main factor, but Im sure we will sort something out before the next event.
Special thanks go to Paul from CHS for joining us on the day too, it was great to meet him and play soldiers!
