Again, i'm not at all talking about making it look used. Read back, i'm talking about making it look like the real thing as it would have look when originally issued. What i'm saying is they have been manufactured differently (and much cheaper) in modern times and hence need a little bit of work to make them look correct (very simple, easy to do things).

The biggest problem i've seen is the way the leather is tanned. After sanding the "fake" tanning, Darryl and I have used the technique off Der Erste Zug and it takes 5 minutes and looks really really good. Haven't found a solution to making painted metal parts look better yet though
