Also, it has a huge steel walled "bin" on the back which would cut up to make a hole squadron of PAK 37's, 88's or anything else we want to put our mind and skills towards. It has all sorts of hinges and little steel sling doors on it so would be invaluable me thinks :)

Here are a couple more shots of the truck. It was a bit of effort to unload, and Chris sustained a minor injury (I have suggested that he sue Andy), but we got it off the truck.

It's going to take some work, but kudos to Chris for undertaking it!

The good thing is you dont have to refinish the metal parts and get them rechromed. Can use any filler, or even replace broken metal trim with wood or plastic as it all gets painted olive drab anyway

Yeah, thanks for that. :/

Dave B, It's a 1941 model Chev.

The only "known" mechanical issue is the brakes (which I can fix), otherwise, just some body and trim work needed.

I see a heap of Deutsche Soldaten sitting on the back of this beast, abreast with their K98's, MP40's, MG34's, Panzerfaust, mortors and other assorted Allied killing machines.....*drools* Take THAT you yankee und tommie SCHWIEN!!! Of course, we have to make sure that there is a nice big flag draped across the bonnet, a big red one with a white circle and Wehrmacht Maltese cross on it...just to doubly make sure the allies know who the real men are! Mwah-hahahahahahahaaaa!!

I think the fact that Chris sustained an injury at Andy's is payment tenfold for Andy and Liz storing the truck....so put that lawyer down David! ha-ha!!

Let me know when you need helping hands (superior Deutsche helping hands that is..) I'll be there!
